Nope, called an old friend of mine that I talk to every 6 months or so, and she told me she would have luvved to, BUT she's booked on a Panama Canal Princess that gets in 2 days after mine leaves

With odds like that, I best stay outta Vegas, eh?

We're below zero here for a couple days so I share the pain, didn't even go dancing tonight (well, granted, the band ain't that good either)
Next Sat is one of my fave's Lonesome Fugitive (adore a steel guitar), will be the last I can hear them 'til March.

So, it appears at this point that I'm still alone (you can all say "awww" now)
I'm sure I'll still enjoy. Getting loose ends tied and starting to get quite excited

Least all y'all have to contend with is the cold. Down here in San Antonio we are getting the cold and our notorius cedar pollen season. Gets so bad my kiddo and I are looking forward to driving 400 miles out to cedar free west Texas to go diving at San Solomon Spring. Was a downright balmy 16 degrees out there this morning when I called a dive buddy.

Have you found a cruizing buddy yet??? If not I would like to give you some information on myself to see if you would be interested in me as a cruising buddy. I have been on several and I love to travel. I take my kids sometimes then I also need my time to vacation. Plese let me know your statis. I have never responded to one of these before. So I am new to the idea but like it. I am single and have been for years. I have always paid my own way since I am single, I know how it is going on trips with out someone, I still have fun but on the other hand wish I had someone to enjoy things with also.

Haven't found a cruise buddy yet.
I did find out that Mardi Gras in Galveston is a HUGE deal tho..so that may be an added bonus or detriment, depending..

Class is 6B, so, no, not a balcony, and I just called Carnival, and there are only interior left.

Personally, methinks balconies are a bit over rated, since the vast majority take square footage out of the room, especially on a "cool" weather port such as GLV. but very worth it to moi from such as San Juan, where it stays a bit warmer.

I am a very considerate (at this point) smoker (I'm considerate almost always)
Have quit, and started, and plan to quit again after this cruise
But I don't "NEED" one first thing in the morning, prefer orange juice, and I "don't" smoke in the cabin, well, seldom, in the bathroom with the vent, occasionally.
Most folks don't know that I do, so it's not an "overwhelming" addiction, and I'm very conscious of it.

That being said, there's always the Falesco Vitiano, which who knows? Makes it worse?

The Mardi Gras Cruise was a blast!
Met a bunch of fun Texans and others.
Only a few from Louisiana that decided if you can't be funny, cute or entertaining, you must get very drunk and loud, sad...

Overall a good trip, new friend sat in with the band, went parasailing and hiked up the mountain in Jamaica.

Well, I "thought" I did, but not sure, although I haven't given up hope!
It'd be wonderful for both of us I'm sure!
Would make it easier if'n I didn't have to make last minute plans, I will say that..but, it's already booked with their name, so..we shall see!
