Default need roomate for Carnival Freedom -03/01 to 03/08-

Hi Guys!
I was hoping to find some advices from you experienced cruisers.
I am 34 yo woman and I am willing to go on my first Cruise. I am looking to have some fun, hang out at the islands with nice people as I am going alone.
I have none idea of cruising so any help will be more than welcome. There is another thing...
I am from Brazil, so this would be a part of my vacation planning... I will be in Miami from Feb 28th to March 10th...so I have seen a Cruise from Carnival that will be on March 1st-March 8th- Freedom -WESTERN CARIBBEAN
What is the average age of these cruises? Would you recomend me to go? I am still deciding.
Anyone willing to be my roomate? I am nice , polite and well educated girl...
looking foward to hear from you all!!!
Thanks!

Hi Damire,

I was also looking to go on a cruise in that week, actually I was going to post a message, but I still hasn't decided yet. I cruise like every 2 months.
I have a few questions for you: What type of cabin would you like? Inside, oceanview, balcony or suite?

Do you have a preference for Carnival? or can it be any cruise line

Is western caribbean your preference?

pls let me know, because we might work s.t. out.

I'm 36, single, good sense of humor, real estate(own business) and live in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles (island close to Venezuela, but we belong to Holland and thanks god not Venezuela, sister island to Aruba), also studying law at the moment.

Hi Gfleo,
well since this will be my first Cruise I dont have a strong base to answer my line preference but I have researched over the internet and came to the conclusion that Carnival lines are fun specially for solo travellers.
I would like the inside cabin because of the price...this cruise will be my last stop from my long vacation...so I rather saving money staying on an inside cabin (praying for a free upgrade of course hehe)
Actually I have 1 month vacation and this starts on Feb 7th (when I am starting my trip on Venezuela) and Curacau is on my list to visit before the Cruise
Anyway the western Carribean really brought my attention as I have never been to the Caribe I liked this schedule.
Of course I am open to other suggestions but this must be in the timeframe I already wrote as I have already issued my flight ticket to Miami arriving there on Feb 28th and leaving on March 10th.

Let me know if your thoughts..
thanks!

I am 34, single, professional, well educated, clean, good sense of humor, do not do drugs, do not smoke, drink socially.

Sounds intresting that you want to visit Curacao , before your cruise. The "problem" is that a have a cruise booked on the Carnival Liberty in May that's going to exact the same ports, but I can change that, so that is not a problem at all, and since I cruise so much, i've been to all those islands already. But if that is what you prefer won't be a problem for me at all.

Most of the times I take an inside cabin too, not just for the price, but the darker the better for me, just sleep much better when it's dark.

How will you be travelling to Miami? from caracas?

I'll send you a PM , so we can continue via e-mail

Hello Ladies,

I was interested in joining you two. How about three to a room? I've done it before with two of my friends and it worked out fine. I'm 37 from Edmonds, Wa, just north of Seattle. I usually cruise with friends but this year they can't get away and I really need to. I'm married but my husband isn't interested in cruising. I'm an accountant with a sense of humor. I enjoy the shore excursions, hitting up the pool parties, taking in the shows after dinner and maybe even a little dancing in the evenings. I don't smoke, I do drink but not excessively and love to be anywhere there is something going on. However on the flip side I also like relaxing and having my quiet time. I usually get an inside cabin, not the cheapest. Don't want to be too close to the engine where you can hear the humms all night. I think my price range is $300 - $500. The benefit to a third person would be that room would be split three ways instead of two. The negative to a third person would be one bathroom and three gals. Me and my friends didn't have too much of a problem because there are bathrooms all over the ship. Let me know if you are interested. I would love to hear from each of you.

Hi Robin,

Thank for the msg. Since I 've never cruised with a "stranger" before I would prefer to share the cabin with just one person. Hope you understand. Maybe next time, we can work s.t. out.

take care,

Giancarlo

b.t.w. I'm not female

Default Oi Damire

Beijos,

Hello,
I am a woman of 42 from Moscow, Russia. I will be in Charleston, SC in the beginning of March for training and would like to take a cruise after/before the training. March 1-8 is OK for me. I will be very glad to find a roommate to share the price. I was on a cruise once. Last autumn on MSC Cruise 'West Mediterranian' - it was great! I am easy-tempered, cleany, non-smoke, no-drink, nice lady. My Enlish is not perfect, but I hope to improve it If you are interested please e-mail me igolv2003@yahoo.com.
All the best.
Olga

I missy.
Your going to have a blast.
Stay solo, you'll have more fun.
Just check the picture gallery after the second seating, all the passengers who board will have there pictures taken. You can check out the talent.
Keep in touch. I'll give you some great tips.
I booked two Princess cruises for 1/17/2009 and 1/25/2009 in the caribbean from Fort Lauderdale. Solo.
I live in San Diego
