Default TA on Voyager sailing 4/27/08 $43 per day

I am a young grad student seeking one person or more to share an inside cabin. There's a good deal on transatlantic cruise from Galveston, Texas to Spain on 27th of April. If you're interested, please contact me.

Home: +44 0844 562 3124 (Europe)
Mobile: +44 0844 562 3125 (Europe) || +1 812 737 3466 (North America)
Email/Skype: xcalbear@gmail.com

About me:

Young grad research student. I don't smoke/drink. Early riser. I am respectful, considerate, polite, out-going & laid-back, and honest. I am straight (but, not narrow) and very single. I work out at least twice a day
in the gym.

Seeking male/female:

Seeking considerate/respectful/honest traveler(s) [do not care if you smoke/drink, but please do not smoke in the cabin). And, I do not care about your gender/age and/or sexual orientation. I am ONLY interested in sharing cabin cost.

Additionally, I am not in the hurry to fly home after this cruise. I am planning to book several days at the hostel and enjoy my time in Europe. I have visited Europe many times in the past, and I recently spent nearly three months in Western Europe in late 2007.

Price: $560 (all taxes, port fees, and fuel charge included)
Price per day = $43

I am interested.

I have shared a cabin recently on the repositioning and maiden voyage of the NCL Gem in December. I found the cabin mate thru' this site.

I might be a bit older than you, @ 58 years and straight, (divorced). But do not worry, I was out and about and made a dozen new friends.

I'm still checking fares to get back from Barcelona. Though I'd love to stay and play, unfortunately, I only get 3 weeks of vacation a year!

Best fares back from Europe can usually be found on SwissAir -
Barcelona is a hub, so you have to go to Barcelona from wherever you
are - but Barcelona back to Florida (via one stop in Zurich ) is about
$623.

Took it last year, and still has best price this year - although it looks like
thursday is the cheapest to fly.

One word of caution. Last year when the Euro was between 1.22 and 1.32
they were charging $6.00 USD per each pound overweight in baggage. Must have gone up since then cause the Euro is $1.56 USD now.
And being the "good germans" they weren't kidding around. So check your baggage weight. Look up how much weight on checked in baggage they're allowing on Swissair - and how much in carry on.

I heard of one girl who had too much weight , so she unpacked a lot of clothes and wore them onto the plane . OOL

Default TA cruise 4/27

I have a possible cabin mate and am just waiting for additional FF miles to purchase my plane ticket. Hope they post to my account in time and I will be on this cruise. I will be spending 3 days post cruise in Barcelona
as the earliest return flight using miles is May. 13. If my plan works possibly we will meet on board and maybe enjoy some time in Barcelona. I'm not seeking a romance just possibly a friend and some company. I am a senior female but a very young, active and adventureous lady. Looking forward to possibly meeting on the Voyager.
Would welcome a reply. casinojoanm

Default Galveston to Barcelona

Hey xCalBear!

I'm an old codger - old enough to be your grandfather (62) - but still young at heart and I'd love to do this trip. I sailed to Europe last Spring on RCCL's Navigator of the Sea with a younger male cabinmate (references) and had a wonderful time. The price is right and I'm a non-smoker, social drinker, and good company. Half-French, I can also speack some Spanish. Let me know more about your plans if interested in hooking up! Pierre

Good afternoon,

Hablo pogito Espanol. Ma famille est la France. Avez-vous habité en France ?

Unfornuately, I already found cabin mate for this sailing. Thank you for your interest. However, if you're available at at the end of the year, I am considering doing back-to-back on Navigator of the Seas (sailing date 31th Oct).

Default Glad to see you found a cruise mate

I found a cruise mate, also, and , yes, in less that 3 weeks we will be sailing. Not too likely that we will see each other aboard the ship since it is such a large ship. But one never knows. Enjoy the cruise. I'm spending 3 nights post cruise in Barcelona. I think your plans, also, included post cruise time in Barcelona. Might iven bump into each other there. Coincidences do happen.

sounds good!!! contact me sometimes in the afternoon before sailing. I will treat you to lunch on the ship You can call me any numbers listed in this post. If you dial my international mobile, make sure you have LD plan and use 011 before dialing. example dial 011 + country code + number (011 +44 +844 562 3125) or, dial my other number, and you wont be charge for international call. Looking forward to meeting you!! ciao
