Panama Canal cruise female roommate needed

I am straight female, 61, looking for a woman to share a cabin on a Panama Canal cruise, maybe in late January, early February or early March. I have never cruised before but always wanted to see the canal.
This would be a west coast to east coast journey as I would like to traverse the canal completely. Have mainly looked at Holland America and Princess cruise lines.
Am open to other itineraries and cruise lines but really do want to do the complete canal, not the turnaround.
I am easy going, neat, non-smoker and not a late-night partier. Really want to avoid single supplement as I have found they are really expensive on cruises. Let me know if you are interested.

1. RT on NCL San Francisco to Mexican Riviera...very relaxing cruise have done it many times and go for the convenience and relaxation and warmth.
NCL is starting an 11 day Mexican Riviera cruise in Sepetmber, Oct, Nov, etc. Good ports.....If this would appeal to you let me know.

2. Oceania, RT Rio de Janiero through Brazil, Uruguay, Buenos Aires. I am thinking of this one. The ship is lovely and upscale.....would have to fly to and from Rio for this one....

The only thing is I was thinking about going in Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec. of 2009 since I am going on a cruise in Dec 2008. I have been on 2 cruise so far and the one coming up will be number 3. I am a young 67 active senior, have been on 4 cruises (Mexico, Alaska, Carribean) Enjoy cruising very much. Also a nonsmoker and social drinker. I live in the San Diego area and would like to meet someone to share a cabin with. It is very convenient for me to leave from SD on a cruise.

A 14 day cruise is a long time for a first time cruiser. It is recommended to take a short one first.
