Hi.
My name is Dawn, and I am looking for a another female to cruise with. I checked out Vacations to Go Singles, last week and got very lucky. I booked a cruise for the middle of January. I got a great deal and I have a room mate already. This came because of a cancelation.
I also met another female on this site after I booked. She is intrested in crusing too. She has booked also. I feel bad as I looked for a roomie for quite some time, only to find this site too late. I will still be thinking of more trips after this one. Hopefully we can continue to keep in touch and something else will come up. Thank you for your post. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Dawn
Hi Dawn - I have used Vacations to Go before but am not sure about the Singles part - is this a singles cruise you booked or do they have a service that matches you with a cabin mate?? Congratulations on your upcoming cruise - I would love to hear more about it.
Joan
Hi Joan,
I just chose VTG, then cruises, then hosted cruises. I picked the cruise I was interested in and that is where I got a discount and a room mate after I talked to the hostess. Here is a short cut link http://www.vacationstogo.com/singles_cruises.
There are other sites I have tried like http://www.singlescruise.com. I was very interested in finding some thing in January so I took the one I'm booked on now. Maybe we can talk about finding one for later. Check out these sites, if you haven't already. I am glad to hear from you again. Hope you had a nice Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
Dawn
Thanks for the tip Dawn - I have cruised with Vacations to Go before and found them very helpful. I am always cautious of singles sites as I am not into anything but sharing a cabin and having a great cruise. I would love to stay in touch for future cruises. Do you know how to email people directly from this board??
Joan
I know gal name Carol gave me her e-mail address in her post to me, other then that I don't know. Mine is Dawnseyes@AOL.com if you want it, please don't share it, as I am trying to be careful also. Thanks, Dawn

Are any of you interested in a Mexican Riviera Cruise or Alaskaan Cruise in the future, these are the two that I am most interested in. It would be kind of cool if all of us did it as a group, then we could get a group discount.
I went on a Vacations to Go Cruise over Halloween and we had the greatest group of people. I guess we were lucky, none of them were rowdy and we all looked out for one another, which made it nice for me, since it was my very first cruise. Some that have been cruising for a long time took me under their wings and taught me some tips about cruising.
I have done quite a few cruises, including Alaska, but might be interested in Alaska, again. July or August are the best months. Getting a group together sounds good but is not an easy task. I have done VTG singles cruises, also. They are good but cruising independently or in a group formed independently is good, too.
I am a 57 year old SWF who has always wanted to go on a cruise. I don't drink, have no desire to party and am not looking for romance. I am retired so I don't have a problem scheduling dates. If anyone is looking let me know.
I also live in S FL , love to cruise and do not want to pay single supplement. I am straight, non smoker, widow and easy to get along with. I am also not a drinker but do not mind if someone likes to have a drink or two.
Having a great time reading all the posts from SWF looking for a cruisemate and or a group booking. I am recently early retired and never used a cruise mate site before. I have what I am sure is all the normal reservations about traveling with a stranger for the first time, but by travel buddies are all still in the corporate grind and I want to travel more now that I have the time. I am mid-50's SWF living in the Atlanta area. I would be interested in considering any cruise anyone is planning. I have only cruised Alaska and carribean, but am hoping to go to the British isles, panama, hawaii/tahiti and perhaps south america.
You mentioned wanting to cruise Panama. I have been seeing many promos for Celebrity Millenium and Infinity Panama Canal cruises in November which include airfare that are very tempting to me. Like you, I am a swf in my mid-50's seeking a cabinmate. I prefer a balcony stateroom. Do you think you might be interested?
Hi Have not used this site before...love feedback on how it has worked for you.Non-smoker, retired. Looking for a warm weather cruise at Christmastime.
Dance cruise would be my first choice...Do not snore, or hog bath or closets.
Very good at going my own way but nice to so some things together depending on compatibility. Enjoy Bridge and other card games. Like the side trips and enjoy exploring more then shopping. Scuba yes.
Visiting West Palm Beach and Coconut Creek area in June...live near SFO in California. dvideou@Yahoo.com do not understand what the BBCode is for???
