Cruise Mates Wanted
59 year old married male seeks a pool of interested males who want to split the double occupancy fare on low cost cruises. My idea of a good deal is $.25 on the dollar with air fare thrown in. I missed, for example, Santiago to LA on NCL with hotel and airfare 18 days for $1090 because of no cabin mate. The airfare alone would have been that much. Presently looking at repositioning cruises.
Not looking to pal around with anyone. Social yet comfortable alone. Non smoker, to bed after the broadway show.
Lets start an email list of screened travelers who want to grab the deals that sell out quickly. You have to decide quickly and be able to travel at anytime if you want the real bargains.
Anyone up for the cape horn?, Panama Canal?
I've never cruised solo but have 5 cruise experiences with family members. My wife likes cruising but will not leave the new granddaughter for any length of time.
My best score was on an NCL line from Rio to Buenos Aires 8 days for $299 out the door in 2007.
I am a destination oriented traveler, like to explore rather than shop, and am a trained fighter in case trouble presents itself ashore. I like to surround myself in foreign culture during port calls. Strictly straight, expect the same.
