Default Alaska in July : SAF 34

34/F/single looking for cabin-mate for Alaska cruise. I can share inside/outside/suite. You would ideally be 30-50, not a huge partier, non-smoker. I'm a south-east-asian expat, long-time seattle resident, professional, financially & otherwise independant, looking for similar company.

Dear Ann: I've been checking out the cruise possibilities; depends of course how much time you have; but if you have several weeks, it seems like the best adventure for your money would be a Glacier discovery cruise from Vancouver to Seward via Glacier bay & college fjord. Southbound, one oculd take the Hubbard glacier tour thru Icy Strait... unfortunately, it also stops in Skag/Jun/ketch as it would be nice to visit Sitka or some of the other locales; but I guess you could find another day's worth to do each place... each one could be had for $450/// making the round trip about $1000 including tax I think.
I was going with my Seattle buddy, Dewey (Pacific crest trail name, real name bruce)... but he said he would feel too confined on a cruise.
Bike courier I was, til an SUV took me out, now have to go ez on the knee.... (motor scooter courier now)... so not being a professional, probly don't make your list... but SE Asians are my favorite women, (Vietnamese cut my hair )... I hiked across Switzerland with "Orange" a cheerleader for Seattle protests, but age difference too great, me now being48. I got my cruise info at cruisesonly.com but need to check more to find a NB cruise that arrives b4 the sb cruise out of seward... some also go into Whittier, which is also close to Anchorage making a short trip to Mckinley between cruises possible from Seward or Whit. u can read a bit of me, gingerbreadman, & Dewey at trailjournals.com though he wrote much more extensively. sincerely, David of Houston

Are you still looking to share a cabin in July?

I would like to cruise R/T from Seattle or Vancouver the week of July
11-12 for 7 days. Don't care what ship.

Non-smoker, non-partier, non-snorer (I think!) Don't like TV on
while I'm trying to sleep.

Sue
