I've never gone alone, but it's getting more difficult to find friends to go. Either they don't want to leave their mates or they don't have the money. Hello-- I am a 60 young retired female teacher from Boston. I will be in S FL from Dec. 1st until May 15th and would love to cruise from here with another female. I am a nonsmoker, active retiree with no baggage or pets. I love reading, tennis, beaching and all outside warm weather activities. I am neat, organized and mostly an early riser ( 8 am ). I am not a big drinker or gambling. I like the activities on the ship that happen outside by the pool or at the beaches. I am quite independent and never offended by my cruisemate going off to do other thingsn that do not interest me. Write back with any questions--Gloria

I live in Florida and am going on the NCL Dawn on March 26, 2010, 9 night cruise. I will be diving at most ports. I have a balcony cabin for my dive gear until it dries, then I can put it back under the bed. Cost is $1100 plus taxes and port charges. Let me know.

I have the same problem getting friends to go with me. I'm an easygoing, fit and active 74, a writer and author. I travel very extensively. I want to cruise anytime after Christmas day and would prefer cruising to Colon, the Dominican Republic or any destination other than the Bahamas.

Hi! I'm looking for a cruisemate to the Carribean the week of March 20th! I am a Non smoker, social drinker, very polite but not stuffy! There are some nice 5-7 day cruises out of Florida - I'm on a budget so I would prefer an interior room and I'm trying to keep the whole trip in the ballpark of $1,000 - so looking for a cruise under $600. I've been on about 4 cruises before, some with friends, one with someone I met on this site. It all seems to work out - its nice to have someone to spend some time with while still going off on your own and doing your own thing. My friends too are restricted in one way or another and it is difficult to be able to go with them. Hope to hear from you.
