Default Female(s) for any cruises in 2010?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, to the U.S. and to cruises.

I am a 39 years old straight woman from Germany but living in the U.S. for the next couple of years because of my job. I have a German Passport with a 5 year Visa from the NATO.

I would love to see everything from the world but Europe, hehehe.

I am
- open minded
- easy going
- no complainer (and that for a German!)
- non-snorer (I think)
- non-smoker but don't mind other people smoking (not in the cabin though)
- funny and always make the best out of everything.

I like
- dancing
- swimming
- good company
- to laugh

I prefer

- an easy going female person (or more than one, like the "Golden Girls"?)
- age doesn't matter if you don't wanna go to bed by 8 pm .
- non snorer

My top destinations would be
Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas, Belize, Caribbean .......what the heck - just about everything!

Not only am I looking for a mate to share the costs but I also don't like to travel by myself and more than that, I don't want to go on a cruise with my friends and their kids during school holidays.

I am free to take vacation days all year.

I hope my English is ok, and, if you do understand my writing, and, could think of joining me on a cruise, please feel free to send me a PM. I will reply to everyone.

Spectra,

you shouldn't have any problem finding a cabinmate with your great attitude ; English looks flawless to me too. I'm hoping to go with a cabinshare again sometime , and even though I'm wrong gender, I'd love to meet a pair like you on board if I find a good guy to go with.

Which ports would be sailing from?

Thanks for the kind words.

Ports don't matter either unless their is no airport close by. I'll be flying in from Texas to wherever.

Maybe we will meet one day on a ship? Who knows? The world is a village....

Hi Spectra,
My name is Julie. I am a 30 yo (soon 31) French-Canadian living near Quebec City, Canada. I am looking for 2-3 female roommates for a Canada-New England Cruise in October 2010 aboard the Norwegian Spirit (I have been on this ship twice and I love it I also get a small discount for many sailing dates since I am a past passenger of this line).
This ship has a few inside cabins that are much larger than the regular ones (200 sq. Ft instead of 149 sq. ft. Allowing for 3 lower berths + 1 upper berth we would need to go light on the luggage though). For now the price is too high but, last year, this cruise sold for almost nothing at the last minute (with 4 in a cabin, it would cost maybe 400-450$ each, taxes and port charges included, for a port intensive 7-night cruise). Personally, I would LOVE to do the B2B cruise from Quebec City (14-nights) but the one-way Boston to Qc City might also interest me.
Here are the itineraries (it would give you a very good overview of Maritimes Provinces and New England I have been to most of these places and they are great) : Quebec City, QC - At sea - Sept-les,QC - Charlottetown, PEI - At sea - Halifax, NS - Portland, ME - Boston, MA + Bar Harbor, ME - Saint-John, NB - Halifax, NS - Sydney, NS - Corner Brook, NL - At sea - Quebec City
But, it is very important for me that nobody feels any obligation toward our travel companions. Every woman of our group can do whatever she pleases. Of course, if we get along very well, it would be great to share dinner and some excursions but always in the respect of freedom of each other.
If this cruise does interest you, PM me and give me your email address and I can email you when the price drops (I have already 2 other women who are interested).
Julie

Default Early Jan Cruise

Hi,

I am 42 years old. My friends would say I am a fun, outgoing
person to be around. I love meeting new people and am a very
flexible person. I am a non-smoker and drink socially when
I am on vacations. I am looking to go on a cruise in the
beginning of Jan to the Carribean. I have an airline voucher
I need to use in Jan.

I have an idea of which cruise line and ship I am looking at but
am open. There are some great deals in January.

I have been on 5 different cruises.

Feel free to email me at JKoritz2@aol.com if you are interested.

Thank you all for your interest. I sent a message to everyone I would be interested to travel with and I am sorry that I am late for any January cruise but I just got back from my christmas vacation. But I'll be open for anything else after January. I have nearly 60 days of vacation left, so let's go!

My favorite destinations for 2010 would be Alaska, Bahamas, Mexican Riviera. I am open for other destinations too. Als long as it is warm because I like to be in the sun.

For Alaska I would like to be in an oceanview cabin, with a balcony or something.

Since this is going to be my first cruise I'd like to start off easy and not travel longer than 7 to 10 days or so. I'd like to be more expierenced first before I go on a longer cruise.

I would be happy if I find a nice mate or mates to travel with.

Hi Spectra,
I am interested in the Azamara cruise from Miami around the Caribbean Feb 24-Mar8. I have friends going on the cruise and would like to go but need a cabinmate to share expenses. I am 51, sound sleeper, non-snorer, non-smoker, quiet, easy going, love sightseeing, photography, computers, knitting and bridge. For most people this would seem like awfully short notice but sounds like you are spontaneous like me!
Thanks,
Nancy

Hi Spectra, My name is Deb. I am from darwin Australia. I have never been on a cruise and being single wasnt sure how i could go. I am 49 enjoy the sun and having fun. I am a non smoker, social drinker. Like to keep fit & healthy and experiencing new things. I am pretty flexible in what i do and easy going. I have been looking at a few cruises, here there and everywhere. I was interested in a Dubai section cruise, or Alaska or anywhere really as long as the price is right. I am anticipating around 7 -10 days. I am aware that i would need to fly to my destination and departure port. As my birthday falls on Halloween, i was considering a cruise to incorporate that...thought it would be fun. But very open for suggestions. Thnks Deb

Hi Spectra, I want to go on a 7 day Caribbean cruise after April 20 till May 2010. I am a 55+ outgong lady, I love to have a great time and really enjoy meeting new people. I have cruised 5 times: Hawaii, Alaska, transatlantic, Mediterranean (2 times) but never to the Caribbean.
If those dates are convenient for you, I would be happy to hear from you.

Hi Spectra,

I was excited when I read your post, it sounds like we have quite a bit in common. Unfortunatley my DH has made the occassional comment, suggesting that I may be a snorer Not really bad, no freight train or chainsaw comparisons but a snorer none the less.

I completely respect your preference for non-snoring types but wanted you to know that I'd be happy to hear from you if you ever get desperate enough to consider night-time ear plugs

Any other musicians from the snorechestra out there? Feel free to check out my thread, posted today (Jan 19).

Hi, My name is Lauren and I'm 52 years old. My husband just passed away suddenly in January so I had to cancel our cruise to Alaska. I still want to cruise so I am thinking of doing a short one, alone for the first time with just my 17 year old son. I don't want to hold him back at night from being with his friends and I don't want to be alone either so I'm looking for people to meet on this board that I can meet up with on the ship. I'm looking at a 4 or 5 day to Bahamas or the Caribbean either the last week in July or first week in August. I want to sail on Royal Caribbean since I have points for a free guest which would be my son. I enjoy the shows, social drinking, hanging out and just having fun.

I am so sorry for your loss, Lauren. I hope you will find nice people to meet. If not here then I'm sure you'll meet some on your first day. I was told one already makes friends at first dinner. I have already booked a cruise in May and July but wouldn't fit your schedule.

Kim, March doesn't work for me but I am glad that you already have somebody to come with you and I'm sure you'll find a third person soon too.

Spectra,

you reminded me of a German woman I met from this site....She was a very good travel partner ...wish there are more people with her personality. Anyway, I already covered the World, so I have no plan to escape Texas this year. If you decide to cruise from Galveston, TX ....drop me an email. I'm retired and I can cruise at last minute notice.

Hi, I am a 37 year old female from Argentina, and will be in Miami by march 30. I am thinking of taking a cruise (Norwegian or Royal Caribbean) to Bahamas on April 2, 2010, for a length of 3 or 4 days and I am looking for someone to share a cabin with. I don't snor or smoke, I like to have fun, laugh, meet new friends, travelling, seeing new places, drinking socially.
Spectra or anyone interested: tangerining@gmail.com. looking forward to your response guys!
