Roommate Needed For Oasis of The Seas Trip
 

I may possibly need a roommate for the Oasis of the Seas western Caribbean trip from Oct 15-22 2011leaving from Ft. Lauderdale Fl. My original roommate may not be able to go and the last payment is due by the Aug 1st. I don't like depending on other people and I would hate to not be able to go on a trip that I would like to go on due to another person. I am going with a group of coworkers and due to my army brat background I love to travel and meet new people.I would pay for myself but I hardly think paying 2,000 or so more for a room I will hardly been in would be worth it. I am a 25 year old African American female. I am a non smoker and would prefer to room with a non smoker but will adapt as long as there is no smoking in the room.I am a Police Dispatcher and am in need of a vacation. If anyone is interested let me know and we can go over the specifics.

Hi! It sure seems like a long time away, but I may be interested. PLEASE don't let this deter your decision, but I am older than you. ("OH NO!") I am a MWF, love to cruise (I have over 30 under my belt) and know the ins and outs of cruising and getting the best deals in port, etc. I have a good sense of humor and am not stuffy or snotty at all. Unless the show is really good I prefer to spend nights snuggled up in my robe watching TV and getting ready for the next day in port, hopefully snorkeling or hitting the beach. Well, a little shopping wouldn't hurt either. Please let me know how much the cruise would be because I have to add air fare on top of that. I am a non-smoker, 100% straight. My husband's busy working and can't take any time off this summer. I just don't know if I can wait that long! Anyway, what do you think?

That is not deterring at all its actually great i'm am easy to get along with and I enjoy watching discovery/travel network during my down time. Lol...@the ("OH NO!"). I am an artsy person...and I also love to shop. This will be my first cruise. You sound like a fun reserved person so thats awesome. The price all depends on what stateroom you want, when my previous rommate told me she may not go I pulled my money out. I plan to pay my part in full on the 16th of July. Do you have a preference of stateroom type?

Hi, sounds like you are in the same boat as me....so to speak. I have a cabin on Oasis Nov 19th 2011 but have also been let down. I am thinking of letting mine go & look to do something else but this would be perfect. I am 57, SWF living in the UK. Would need to ensure I could get flights at a reasonable price. What price would it be to share & what type of cabin do you have booked.

Is there a way we can exchange personal emails? I'd LOVE to chat with you and would love to do something sooner if it were possible. I live in Texas so unless we decided to do something out of Galveston, I would have to fly in. What state do you live in? Because I have several "discounts" available to me I can probably get us a good price. After going on more than 35 cruises :mrgreen: the location of the cabin doesn't matter much to me. You would probably like at least an OV room so you could sit in the window watching the waves go by.

If this is your first cruise, PREPARE TO GET ADDICTED! My husband and I went on a 5-day Jubilee cruise and since then I've been really addicted and there's NOTHING else I'd rather do.....other than meeting Paul McCartney. :shock: I'd love to hear back from you.
