Ideal cabinmate would be female between 20-30s and would enjoy excursions, and be social.

If you don't get an answer from a single female in your age range, are you desperate enough to share it with a 64 year old man? Nice guy... no hanky panky... I just want to go on a cruise and the singles rates are crazy! It says each cabin has a queen bed that is really two single beds. We could split them up. Anytime you want to use the shower etc I could run down to the casino so you would have some privacy. I'm really serious here. I would even be your excursion assistant. (I understand this would be absolutely last case scenario) I shower daily. Shave occasionally. Love to play BlackJack. I've got two daughters older than you! So I promise you're safe. Tom

p.s. married for 33 years - 4 years in the Marine Corps. 30 years the same job with the same company. Why am I wasting my time here? Because you may say yes. It takes all kinds to keep the ball rolling.

A girl going with any guy who is a stranger is just crazy.. even another girl she dont know is odd... Only way anyone should go with a stranger is if they get each other's facebook asap.. and see them and how they interact with others. Give it a few weeks or a month or 2 in communicating and checking them out..maybe even doing a background check is good. Then if everything seems fine.. then take the risk if you want.
Sure it's just a roommate but you still are living with them for 4-7 days depending on your cruise.

A guy 64 wanting to share with a girl in her 20s is just creepy. Sure we all would love to room up with a girl in her 20s at that age, but lets be honest, if you were just looking for a cruisemate to cut prices, another guy, or someone late 40s-70s is fine. Infact over 70 would be good for you since they will probably be in bed by 10pm. lol

Scott,

Why are you on this board then? Isnít everyone a stranger looking for a stranger? What do you think this board is for?

Iím a male who has been on two cruises with complete strangers (both women). I had a great time, no problems. You are right about one thing, I did get to know both over the phone over a 3 week period discussing likes/dislikes regarding rooming.

Background check, you seem very paranoid. Like my co-workers who thought I might get kidnapped or something. People are too much sometimes.

Some roommates do have problems and write about it. But the main issue seems to be personality conflicts. Sloppy person vs. neat person, snoring, etc.

I could not see my self at 60 rooming with a 20 year old; you probably have a point there. As for the 10PM crack, not nice, you donít seem very mature.

This post has been hijacked. Let it get back to what it was originally posted for.
