Cost seems to be in the 900-1100 range depending on cruise line and which dates. For example Carnival Conquest 2/19-3/4 from New Orleans is 838+tax.

I have often thought about doing a singles cruise, but thought that the companies which run them may be either too hokey, meat marketish or lame. Can you recommend any which you have been on that you enjoyed?
I've only been on one singles cruise, so can't say much, but I enjoyed it and may go again sometime.
This one, STI, (google sti cruise), is nice because after you sign up for free and give them basic info about yourself, you can look to see what other singles have already booked or are just considering. You can even send these other people private messages to ask them anything you want. They may not answer you of course, but at least you know if there is anybody actually going or not, and what the age and sex breakdown will be.
