This is onboard the Rhapsody of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) from 6th September to 5th October and is a back to back repositioning cruise once a year which sells out quickly hence the 2013 date. The Uk cost is £2167. If you'd like any further info please ask. I'll just add I'm travelling across Canada by train through the Rockies to get to Vancouver!
Hi Kathy
I saw your posting and sent a reply but obviously not correctly, I pressed the thread button so goodness knows where it went! I am flying to Toronto and travelling across Canada by train through the Rockies to reach Vancouver. I particularly wanted to travel on the repositioning cruise to take in Hawaii and Tahiti for several visits at each port. I couldn't find the first part of your cruise only from Ensenada which I would need to get to from Vancouver.Perhaps you can send more details? Cheers Cathy
Hi Cathy, X cruise starts Ensenada, which would require flite to LA from either Vancouver or Seattle. Air costs alot less from Seattle. Quick Coach bus line runs from Vancouver to Seattle. Took it couple years ago.I do not do RCL. Had a disastrous experience on them many yrs, ago. Celebrity is a more premium product but your RCL may suit your schedule easier .Compare itins.and ships.Look up on Celebritycruises.com. websit.
Hi Kathy
I've looked at the website for Celebrity and the first leg has quite a few stops in Hawaii which is great. Only one stop later on in Tahiti, disappointing, but more for French polynesia which I guess ought to be similar! So all in all the cruise itineries are not dissimilar. I could travel down the coast from Vancouver and sightsee on the way might even drive. I was planning some time in Australia too before flying home so not sure how long a west coast trip would take, any ideas?
Anyway I'm tempted to change horses and opt for your boat!
I am on facebook if you want to see what I look like!!!

Somehow I missed putting on Vacationstogo, com cruise numbers,Sept 23 Ensenada-HNL leg-31843. Honolulu-Sydney is 31847. I have taken Pacific coastal on Century so looked up Sept repo from Seattle.down to Ensenada. Its also SOLSTICE 10N Sept 13, 2013.Interesting ports. 2 days SanFrancisco too. Easier, probably cheaper too than land trip. The HNL-Sydney has 3 stops in French Polynesia, not one.VTG # is 24834.
Hi Kathy
I've spent the evening researching routes down the pacific coast and have concluded a flight from Seattle to San Diego followed by the red bus to Ensenada is the best way to go! So I guess if you are willing we could be cruisemates!!
