I will be 57 in May and am retired so my schedule is flexible. I am a smoker so I am interested only in balcony staterooms where smoking is allowed on balcony, which probably limits me only to Holland America ships. I am in Los Angeles, but also willing to embark at San Diego, San Francisco or Seattle (and may entertain embarkation at Texas). I only prefer the longer cruises (14+ days - the longer, the better, and I would also be interested in a string of cruises that enables circumnavigation). Hetero, former travel writer (on my Harley), huge fan of culinary arts, and my interests are extensive and diverse. Very physically active; I would rather hike to a cultural venue than sit in a vehicle (however I love trains), especially after spending so many days aboard ship. Let me know if you know anyone who may be compatible. Thank you.

Default Cruise from Boston

Is anyone besides me interested in doing a HAL cruise to Montreal or Quebec this summer? Or the other way, or both?

I'm an active older woman, married but with a husband who has no interest in making this trip.

Default Cruise over Thanksgiving?

I'm booked on the Carnival Sunshine out of Port Canaveral from Nov. 22-29 and would love to have a congenial companion to share expenses. Itinerary includes Cozumel, Isla Roatan (Mahogany Bay), Belize and Costa Maya. I got a really good rate on a porthole cabin.

I'm 64, non-smoking, an early (but quiet) riser. and open to compromise on issues. I play a lot of trivia on the ship and rarely drink. I will be part of a group including my family and some of their friends but will be free to do what I want. Just looking for someone easy to get along with who might want to do a few things together and have some fun! Really looking forward to that adults-only pool on the Serenity deck! Interested? Let's talk!

Hi, you sound interesting. I don t smoke, but I have a little Yamaha 125 track bike. I d like to take my 4rth cruise, but this one would be westbound from London area to Florida this fall. Does that fit in anywhere with your round the world er? I recently went Vancouver to Sydney, and have taken the QE2 from NYC to London, a good start on a round the world.

Hi,

I am a young 66, love to travel, and especially to cruise. I am retired, single, and can go anywhere at any time. I am looking for some cruises in 2015, starting with one from the US (either east or west coast). I do not like the long-haul flights across the water, so I want to cruise to somewhere and then go from there. For example, a cruise from Florida or NY to Europe (anywhere) would allow me/us to travel in Europe on the train or go on flights of 2-4 hours instead of traveling for 24 hours on three planes.
I am open to any length of cruise, and would love to do a world cruise soon.

Hi Tami,
I am retired, live in Phoenix, and am open to almost any cruise, both ocean and river, any time and pretty much anywhere. I am looking at 2015 now.
There is an Azamara in April 2015 from Florida to Athens, which allows me/us to keep traveling in Europe for awhile.
I am not fond of long-haul flights, so I prefer to cruise to a location that is an easy take-off point.

Smile South America on HAL Jan-Mar 2015

I found a great deal on a 49-day cruise, Ft. Lauderdale to Ft. Lauderdale, down the east coast of South America with lots of stops in Brazil. I am a past passenger on HAL, and have about a 40% discount. Deposit is 50% this week, and everything is refundable up to 1 day before final payment due date (Oct. 2014).
Would anyone like to share an oceanview cabin?
Please send me a private message. Thanks!

Default Not over 60+ but here goes

Hi I'm looking for a female roomie. I'm in my 50s but like to do adventurous activities. I don't smoke, snore, nor am I messy (respect your space), not into partying all night but do like a drink or 2 and socialising, and not looking to bring someone back to the cabin, nor do I hang my washing up in the bathroom. I'm a professional self employer woman wanting to share costs and hopefully we will get along, as I was lucky before.

Cruises that interest me are as follows:

HAL 28 days Mexican Riviera + South Caribbean (would look at other cruise lines), leaving on 18 Dec 2014. I like longer cruises if doing long haul flights out of Australia. 1st preference cruise.

Princess have a 20 Caribbean on Royal Princess round trip from Ft Lauderdale, this ship looks brilliant, leaving on the 29 Dec 2014 I think. 2nd preference cruise, this might also be 1st preference lol

Princess 21 Southeast Asia leaving on the 18 Dec is also great its only $250 more for a balcony, from an inside, its Singapore round trip. 3rd preference cruise.

Xmas & NYE Celebrity Solstice Sydney to NZ Departing Dec 21, Jan 4 (2015) 14 days (this cruise does Melbourne and Hobart and all of NZ). 4th preference cruise as its cold and would like somewhere warm.

I would consider inside cabin choice but the lowest I've had in the past is OV. Don't believe last minute cruises would suit me if needing a long haul flight.

It seems to be quite a task to find someone to buddy up with if anyone is interested please let me know and we can connect via Skype.

I'm interested in anything from a short 3-4 day cruise to the Bahamas - all the way to a world cruise. (I would want us to try one or two shorter cruises first, just to be sure we're a good fit.)

I'm fairly fit, but I don't do super active excursions like zip lines, scuba or rock climbing. But I'm also perfectly happy for my roomie to go off and do those things on her own. I would like to have a fairly consistent dinner companion, though I enjoy anytime dining and joining other groups for variety and meeting new people.

I don't smoke. I drink wine with dinner on some nights.

I am Platinum on Princess. I have also cruised with Royal Caribbean. I'm open to other cruise lines, particularly if you are at a level that affords us some extras.

I enjoy reading, playing cards, crochet, Bingo, cooking classes, conversation, history, historical sites, museums, markets, gorgeous views and laughter.

In my work life, I was in higher education administration. I also served as an alcohol & drug counselor and provided marriage and family counseling. In my retirement, I try very hard not to administer anything or counsel anyone. But obviously, I would prefer to travel with someone who does not have issues with alcohol or drugs and is fairly stable and low key.

If you think we might travel well together, please send me a private message.

Thanks!
Are you still looking for a travel buddy as I just posted on here under I'm not over 60+ but here goes

Yes OyaSophia and Sujoy still looking, if could please send me a private message telling me a little about yourself and then I will do the same, also stating what are your choice on the cruises outlined. I've done 2 HAL cruisers so far one to the Med it was a back to back and the other to Sth America so not too sure how many stars I have lol. Open to looking at cabin choices and other locations as long as its worth my time as long haul flights aren't cheap so have to make it worth my while. Look forward to hearing from you both.

As mentioned I like doing adventurous activities as opposed to sitting in a bus and looking at the scenery. That's why the Sth American cruise was the best so far for me because, I did swimming with the sting rays and with the dolphins not to mention the seals in freezing waters, to white water raftering with snow capped mountains in the back ground, yes I froze my butt off but worth every cent and so beautiful. Anyway I'm just a normal Aussie don't hold that against me (with a European background). We don't have to do things together but it would be nice to get along and share dinner and perhaps some outings etc I've had the experience of getting a group together and doing our own things in port instead of ship excursions as this is very expensive so we saved a bundle doing it that way.

Let me know your thoughts so that we can get excited and plan together. Ciao Cathy oh and I'm not Italian lol

PS I'm sure my previous roomie would be happy to give a reference if its needed as I know that we don't know each other

Hello,

My name is Sheri. I love to travel too. I have cruised several times and enjoy it. I am a young 62. I am a non-smoker and drink socially in the evenings. I am quiet and independent. I too would like a dinner companion but it is not necessary every night. Please contact me if you are interested in cruising together.

I am looking for a cruise mate for a cruise that I have already booked. It is on the Celebrity Infinity. I have an ocean view cabin on deck 3. The cruise leaves Fort Lauderdale on Nov 4th and goes through the Panama Canal. It is 15 days long and ends in San Diego. The total cost is $2495 for everything including taxes, tips, and alcohol.
