I am going to be booking a last minute cruise on Carnival for August 3rd out of Miami. I am going solo, but would like to avoid the surcharge by finding someone to go with me.
I am a 42 year old full-time nursing student. I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to Summer semester being over, and just recently decided to do another cruise. I don't have any problems sharing a cabin with any sexual preference, age, race, gender, etc.
I don't mind if we sort of go our seperate ways while cruising if there aren't any common interests. My main goal is to reduce my cost, but if we get along well I don't mind hanging out.
The itinerary that I am most likely booking by the end of the week includes:
7 Day Eastern Caribbean from Miami, FL
Departs from: Miami, FL
Aboard the: Carnival Liberty
Ports of Call: Half Moon Cay, The BahamasSt. Thomas, USVI, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Grand Turk
This one is 719 for interior (preferred), 989 for balcony (do-able)
Willing to discuss discounting your portion since I will be paying 1400 for an interior if I go by myself.
If you have an interest in another 7 dayish itinerary in early August from any port in Florida I am game to discuss it.
Hi I'm looking for someone to go on 7 day cruise out of port canaveral.
My brother and his BF are sharing a room so I have to go solo or find another person.
The cruise is 7 days and it leaves Sept 7th the rates go down after August.
Maybe we can do August because we haven't booked everyone yet.
Anyone interested if the cabin cost is free? I have to pay full price anyway.. might as well fill the second bed so I feel like I get my money's worth
Even if you wind up solo, it's nice to have the cabin by yourself. If it makes you feel better, I've booked solo and unable to "give" the second bed away.
It's odd, I started nursing school when I was 40 too.
I just had back surgery yesterday, so it's too soon for me to go.
I am finding older nursing school students sort of common. I didn't realize it until I decided to do it, but I think once you're our age you burn out on your previous career and are just old enough to be more interested in helping people than sitting in an office cube for the rest of your life... at least that's sort of how it happened for me. Hope you feel better soon.
