Oct 20, 2013 Carnival Valor - San Juan, PR

Booked in cabin 7360 midship balcony on Carnival Valor (PR, St Thomas, Barbados, St Lucia, St Kitts, St Maarten, San Juan) and have hotel in San Juan for the evening of Oct 12th so I can take the El Yunque Rainforest and Luquillo Beach tour on the morning of the 13th 9am - 5pm (Tours, sightseeing tours, activities & things to do | Viator.com - $71.99) Ship departs 10pm. You can share free - buy me dinner.

Would consider a cabinmate at a cost of $750 for the cruise only. I'm female, 57, nonsmoker, social drinker, have used cruisemates twice before with great results and can provide references.

Also looking for future cabinmates for Alaska cruise and Panama Canal Transit on any cruise line.

Is your cruise the 13th or 20th?

Dimmie September 22nd, 2013 05:29 PM

Sorry... the 13th.

Are you open to a male cruise mate?

motherboarder September 28th, 2013 04:57 PM

Hi there. I'm cruising Valor in mid November ~ same itinerary.. searched long and hard for a cabin-mate.. alas... Enjoy and we'll have to chat after you return. Maybe you can give me some recommendations for the various ports. The only excursion I have reserved is zip-lining in St Kitts. I also purchased the F2F since I'm sailing solo so I can board the ship early and go directly to my cabin to unpack :) Marylou Hansen

I can vouch for Dimmie as a cabin mate
No problems at all

Thanks Brad... we'll have to do another one of these days!

The one "must not miss" is going to Maho Beach in St Maarten... do a search on youtube to see videos of the planes landing so close you feel like you can reach up and touch them! The cruise lines don't offer it as an excursion... probably a liability issue... but it's a quick $8 shuttle from the port - you won't have any problems finding a bus going out there.

Have fun!

Is your question directed to me? (motherboarder) :) the messages on this site thoroughly confuse me.

If not, please disregard. Have a great day!

Check posting dates in the left corner. The male question was on 9/23 and your post was 9/28. What would make you think that question was directed to you?

Ma Oui!
Would have liked to do this one with you, but *sigh* business...You'll have a blast!
Feel free to use me as a reference if you like!

I'm thinking on doing this itinerary with some friends next Sept, air is much better now that Southwest bought AirTran
Enjoy!

I'm on a back to back to back on the CCL Magic starting Jan 19, looking for a cabin mate for the first 2 legs if you're interested

Brad,

This is perfect timing for me! My next scheduled cruise is in April, and I love doing January in the Caribbean. You have my email. Send me all the details and I'll let you know. I am out of pocket Oct 12-20 but can let you know when I get back if we don't lock it down sooner.

Remember, you get the 55+ discount with me... LOL

Also, Let's do like last time and share pre-cruise hotel and travel... that worked great!

Hugs, Dimmie
