Default Never been on a cruise..plan to go in November

I would love to take a cruise around the Hawaii Islands. Would prefer to share a room with another lady. Less expensive to share a room. I would probably take day tours on each island as I would love to see these other than from the ship. I haven't planned this yet.
Anyone interested?

I've moved your post to Seeking a Cruise Companion, as you'll have more luck in finding someone.

Having done a cruise around the Hawaiian islands, I can say from first-hand experience that I would definintely NOT recommend doing any shore excursions, especially those offered by the cruise line. Too expensive, too regimented, and too crowded!

We pre-reserved a rental car in each port and it was the most awesome way to do it. We got to go where we wanted, stay as long as we wanted, and do what we wanted. We went to places the shore excursions don't go. We got to stop and eat at some amazing restaurants. I've had many clients do the same thing and they all agree - renting a car is absolutely the best way to do it.

Default Great minds think alike

Hi, I have never been on a cruise either and I am quite interested in sharing a balcony or suite as I am disabled and cannot walk much so would be spending my time on ship.

I would like to take a cruise from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale. Leaving October 20th for 16 days. Would like the balcony. Costs around $2,500 + taxes each. Looking for a female to share the room.

This might be something you may be interested in.

We have one of the two bedroom aquatheater cabins booked on the Allure of the Seas for October 22, 2017. These are one of the most sought after cabins due to the wrap around balcony, perks, and being able to see the water shows from our cabin. The cabin and the balcony is about 1400 sq ft.

We have five people in the cabin and looking for just one more. (The cabin holds 8) We have two couples, myself and my husband who will have the master bedroom. Friends of mine from Hawaii will have the other bedroom. In the the common area, which consists of a bar area, dining room and the living room is just my brother in law. The common area is large and can make the couch out to a bed and another area out to a bed. If wanted we can have our personal butler/genie put curtains around a sleeping area. We had another couple going but they can not go anymore. We are just looking for one other person.

With this cabin we are in the star class. We get all of our drinks covered, specialty dining covered, VIP seating for the shows, and much more.

I have cruised about 20-25 times, but this is my first time into looking for a cabin mate. We never had a two bedroom cabin before, so it never has been an issued before.

Some of us are in our 50's others are in their 60's. All very active. We have one person that smokes cigars and one that unfortunately does smoke but nobody can smoke in the cabin or the balcony anyways. We do not want somebody who is a big partier and will be drunk 24/7.

I got this cabin at a great deal when I booked on board last year. The price that each person pays is based on where they will be sleeping. Therefore, my husband and I pay the most, than the other couple will be next and the my brother and law and the other person will pay the least amount. We think this is extremely fair. For the trip, all the drinks, unlimited specialty dining and all the other perks like behind the scenes tour, your cost will be $2000.

I live in Florida and like going to the Caribbean. You did not say where you were leaving from or how long you would go

Hi,

I do like cruising around Dec. 23 to Jan 6 or 7 but find it hard to find someone to go with around those dates. I have not booked anything yet because of no Roommate & expensive for singles. I always book a balcony room because I'm Claustrophobic.

I will be 52 in August, Skinny, blond hair, smoker - (I respect those who do not smoke), love my margaritas, love sunning, not much into tiring activities. I have Celiac Disease so I try not to exhaust myself, mostly have to watch what I eat. I do cheat with foods here & there and some days I don't feel well but it eventually passes & don't like making people feel guilty just because I am not well. I would expect my Roommate to go about their fun even if I had to stay in the cabin at any given time. I don't get up at the crack of dawn but if there are plans made, I get up in enough time to get myself ready.
My Email is Lovekit101@aim.com
Sincerely, Tracey K
