They say there's no bargains left in the Caribbean
I happened to be at Costco this week and came across a TAG watch that I purchased last year in St. Thomas. It was $800 more than I paid.
Now Costco may not be THE bargain spot for watches, but it sure made me feel good seeing the difference.
RE: They say there's no bargains left in the Carib
I think this is a good example, that you should really know the prices of anything you may be looking to purchase anywhere. It pays to know what you are getting. Unfortunately when buying large ticket items away from home, if there are problems, its usually a bit of a hassle getting it taken care of when you get home.
So, just be wise when shopping while on vacation.
