DIAMONDS INTERNATIONAL

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with upgrading at Diamonds International?

I bought a Diamond ring at Diamonds International in St. Maarten 2 years ago. I am thinking about upgrading it as we will be in St. Thomas in September. I know St. Thomas also has a Diamonds International, is it possible to do an upgrade at a different location?

Thanks for any info!

I traded in a one ct. diamond solitaire ring at Diamonds Int'l in St. Thomas, and they gave me a great price, especially considering it wasn't purchased from them. I did not have my appraisal with me, but no problem since they have gemalogists on staff. Purchased a beautiful 6.5 ct. tanzanite surrounded by 1 ct. of diamonds. A real beauty!!! It was a bit of a hassle sending the ring to NYC to be sized, but D.I. paid all expenses involved. Yes, you could go to any D.I.and they would accept your trade!

I bought a 2 carat tennis bracelet there on 1 of the islands. The following year I wore the bracelet ,went to a different island and saw them there. I was looking at the 3 carat tennis bracelets but told them I didn;t have the papers with me because I didn;t know they were there. NO PROBLEM! They inspected it and let me trade it.

Then after I got home I noticed one of the diamonds was missing. I freaked!
Called them up, sent it back and held my breath in panic. Within 1-2 weeks they sent it back registered receipt for them to sign for. They even paid me for the postage.
Would definatly deal with them again
