Default luggage

Anyone have suggestions relative to what to do with luggage upon arrival in Puerto Rico for the day? We arrive at 9:30 am and don't want to haul luggage around all day in Puerto Rico. Same situation after cruise - flight doesn't depart PR until 5:45 pm.

Hi Cathy,
When arriving for the cruise with that early flight, you can just head out to the pier and by the time you get there or shortly after, boarding should begin. You can go through the embarkment then get off and wonder around town if you wish. For the return trip, I'd suggest doing some post-excursion where they drop you at the airport after the tour, I've done those in the past and it sure beats sitting at the airport all day. They will give you all that information once you are cruising.

As Donna says..there are tours you will be offerred onboard in SJ that will usually allow you to get off the ship first, and not handle your luggage at all...The tours last a good part of the day, so enjoy yourself, and get to the airport in plenty of time to relax, before you board...I did a city tour once, that I believe also inlcuded the Bacardi plant..also a stop for lunch....Bon Voyage...Trip/Monday Chat Host

Cathy,
I was just told about Bacharina Village where you can check your luggage while you explore San Juan. I am sure there is a fee for this but wasn't told the amount.

Hope this helps.
