Default Bringing on Wine etc.

Going on the Mariner of the Sea in July, always BYOB since we live near Napa and love wine. Any suggestions? Do we have to sneak it on. I don't mind paying the corkage fee, just want to enjoy my wine.

Put it in your checked luggage wrapped up tight and all will be fine.

Make your dream cruise come true!!

Realize if you are going to give it to them for the corkage fees, it shoudl be some where easily accessible. You don't want to be unpacking your entire carry on at the entrance to the ship.

Hello neighbor! we grew up in/still live near Napa! We always joke that we could pay for our cruises by packing Napa wines and operating our own wine shop on board.

Just bubble wrap them for safety (you can recycle for packing your souvineers). We will be taking a few bottles as well-it just kills me to pay $30 or more for a bottle I can get localy for $12.

Ain't it the truth about wine prices! I live in California, too, and you don't have to go on a cruise to watch the prices soar. What we pay a few bucks for may be $15 in the midwest where my mother lives.
