Diamond Studs

I am interested in buying a pair of diamond studs (2 carats). I've checked locally, but the prices are out of my league here in Southern California. W ould I do better waiting until Feb. 05 when I will be in Cozumel and Costa Maya?

Definitely buy in Cozumel, if nothing else you will save quite a bit by not paying tax. I always buy my jewelry at Diamonds Int'l. because they are so reputable.

I just got back from both ports and found the prices were a little better in Cozumel. I just bought a 2 ct diamond tennis bracelet in Cozumel. Although our state doesn't have a sales tax it was still about $400 cheaper there than at home. Hope this helps.

as long as you are an educated consumer, know your prices and the QUALITY of the diamond studs you want, go to one of the ships recommend stores in Cozumel. IF you go to these stores, the cruise line will back you if you have any problems in the future.
