We are going on a cruise on dec. 12th to the Western Carribbean. We are going to do our christmas shopping in the ports, We are on a limited budget. Does anyone know of some good places to shop, that a very good for a limited budget? Most of the shopping is for the younger kid's (8, 4 and babies)
Thank you!
Cozumel is fun to shop - lots of stuff and reasonable prices (AFTER you haggle - which in my opinion is a lot of the fun!) - hope this helps! Have fun!
in Grand Caymen you could buy the stuffed animals - Sting Rays and Sea Turtles are the popular marine animals on this island. Plenty of little souvenior shops to choose from close to the tender docks.
In Cozumel there a lots of shops to choose from downtown. Look for the local crafts type stores for something.
In Cozumel there are stores facing the pier and I remember one way at the end (if you are standing looking at the pier from the stores, it's down on your right side).
They had a lot of nice gifts, colorful items that kids might like. I think is was like Costa de Sol.
I'm sure the ship will tell you where to shop. I know that Royal Caribbean is really good about giving out maps on where to shop.
