Default Best Ocho Rios Jamaica shopping? Here are the choices...

I am not familiar with any of these places, not looking for anything in particular, just some souvenirs and am willing to check pretty much everything out. Nothing big ticket...

Sonis Plaza

Taj Mahal

Island Village

someone also mentioned shopping at Margaritaville, I thought this was a restaurant?? Am I wrong??

Thank you!

If I remember correctly, since it's been a while, the 2 shopping centers are right by the pier. Island Village, I don't remember, sorry.

Most Margarittavilles, do have shops, but the one I was in, in Montego Bay, didn't.

Island Village has lots of shops and you shouldn't need to go any further. There is a Margaritaville in Island Village. Island Village is a very short walk from the gate of the cruise pier (perhaps a 5-10 minute walk depending on speed). You will find just about anything you want in Island Village. There is a shop that sells nothing but rum, coffee, and spices--three things to go to Jamaica for!

Happy sailing!

Default Ocho Rios Shopping

Island Village is great. It's very quaint and has that nice tropical island feel. It's right off the pier with plenty of souvenirs, t-shirts, liquor, coffee, jewelry, etc at good prices. There is a Margaritaville there with a restaurant, bar, a little shop, a beach and a pool.
