Default Darn, Drat, Oy!

Have you ever had buyers remorse over a significant purchase while on a cruise? Did you try and rectify your situation, or just say, never again?

Trip, with her book & tea!

I've never had buyer's remorse over a significant purchase but I have had some over the little "knick knacks" that we've bought. Many of them have ended up as garage sale items or buried in drawers or boxes in the basement. This includes "drink of the day" glasses.

We now have a rule: No "bugiganga". Portuguese for "bits and bobs".

Take care,

I'm with Mike... it wasn't a big purchase only a $10 watch, but almost immediately after I started wearing it, I realize there was an intense glare on the face. I couldn't read the time, most of the time, without waving my arm around and about tilting from side to side...

Don't ask me why I didn't return it immediately...

Yes, to many to list, but why does all that stuff seem so inticing in the shops, that become "pure crap" once I get home. What happens to my brain?

I am going to try really hard on this cruise to resist the compelling urge to buy useless items.

I will report back as to my success or failure in this attempt

When on a cruise we have quit purchasing anything on shore. The question we ask--do we really need it and is it available back home? We have not only saved a ton of money but a ton of disappointments with poor quality merchandise.
