Okay, I'll play. I hate malls, so cruise shopping is so my thing.
Handcrafts...particular weakness for wood carvings. My all time favorite is a large (3+ ft . tall) horsehead carved out of yellow cedar, from Mazatlan.
If I had 250.00 to spend on anything I wanted, it would definitely be a piece of jewelry, probably in St Thomas. My favorite purchase was a gorgeous diamond ring with a price of 3800. that my hubby got for 900.! Lovely 3 main diamonds with channel diamonds up both sides. I also got a beautiful white gold necklace with an ammolite gem set in a square setting for my daughter in St. Martin. That was priced at 1800. and I got it for just over 400.! Trip you sound like my kind of shopping buddy!
Looking for a cruise for my 50th birthday in October 2009....any suggestions?
