Excursions - Mexican Riviera

Can anyone offer some advice on excursions on the Mexican Riviera? We're taking 7 days to Mazatlan, Cabo and Puerto Vallarta at the end of October.

Neither of us swims (or is inclined toward water-related activities). Hoping someone can give us guidance on land-based trips, or should we go it alone?

Harry: We are like you. We are not beach goers and we are not nightclub or bar hoppers. We took the same itenerary on Carnival and we went ashore and shopped at the markets near the ship in each port for about 2 hours. We then went back to the ship and enjoyed the on ship activities. There should be plenty going on at the ship. Nothing much to buy except souveniers and fake Louis Vuitton, fake Gucci, fake Fendi and fake Oakley glasses. Have a grat cruise!

Would appreciate information on shore excursions offered in these ports other then watching the cliff divers in Acapulco. I am sure all the lines offer shore excursions. After all, they really do want your money.

Hello, i can tell you alot about Puerto Vallarta, if you can go to the board walk at the south end and watch the painting.
also if you have time go to andales bar and say hi to peggy, its a couple blockes south of the bridge

Thanks for the hints, folks. I'm gonna also try and cruise the web sites for each city to see what strikes me as interesting ahead of time.
