Has anyone taken the American-Cup sailing excursion? Was it fun? I've heard it is hard work. I'm also wooried about being sea-sick. I have never been on any other ship.

Thanks for any advice.

I have heard that this is the #1 ship tour to take. However, I have never done it because I can't see myself saying I don't want to work! I love the beach and a tour or taxi to Orient beach (nude optional) is great for the morning then returning to town for some shopping is just right for me. Cupecoy beach is nice too but watch for rough currents.

Do the America's Cup!!!!
It is so much fun. I convinced my wife on our Disney cruise and she later admitted it was a highlight of our trip. You can work as little or as much as you like. My job was one of the main grinder of the sails. I woudl consider that moderate exercise. I loved it! My wife on the other hand held my stopwatch and was responsible for the timing of our start. I would call that couch potato work!

As for getting sea sick - if you can survive your cruise - you can survive this! It is an exhilirating ride when the wind blows you full speed.

I highly recommend this excursion. It lasts about three hours, leaving plenty of shopping time in Phillipsburg or a trek to Orient Beach.
