Default Mayan Ruins - Cozumel or Mainland

We are on the Sea Princess and trying to decide what shore excursions to take.

For sure, we want to see the Mayan ruins and are debating the Cozumel or mainline package. If anyone has some experience, I would appreciate any advice.

Default RE: Mayan Ruins - Cozumel or Mainland

Hi Larry,
On the island of Cozumel there are very few ruins, and those that are there are pretty minor. Other than for ruins, Coz. is a great spot. Easy to get around, good snorkeling, and lots of fun at Carlos & Charlies.
However, if u're set on ruins, u'll have to look at going to Tulum, or a flight tour into Chitza Itza.
