Default Group tour visa in Russia

Does anyone know what would happen if you on a cruise excursion in Russia (which they have a group visa), and you lose or leave the group.

Default Re: Group tour visa in Russia

Don't do it? Have heard that it can be unpleasant and expensive. Plus, once you see the flith in Russia you'll want to leave. I was there last week. Very glad that I stuck with a group instead of going out solo. Did my own thing in other ports. I'd also suggest taking a tour in Gdansk. It's very seedy.
