We are sailing on the Millennium on Jan 20th and want to know if there are any hotels or resorts in Nassau and San Juan that sell Day Passes. we would like to be able to use their pool and facilities. We have been told that the Atlantis used to sell them but they have been discontinued. Does anybody know for sure?
The Atlantis does not sell day passes for their pool - only for viewing their aquarium and using their shops and casino. They are pretty strict with their security around the pool areas so I wouldn't try to sneak in. I saw many people turned away trying to access the property throught the rear beach entrance. The Mariott at Cable Beach ( take a cab from Nassau) I heard does allow use of it's beach and pool but I don't know what the fee is ,if any or if they just don't notice outsiders coming in. In San Juan the beaches at Isle Verde are nice and are open to the public, this is where a lot of the nicer hotels are located. You can sit in front of the hotels but they won't let you use their chaises or pools. You could try calling the Hilton or Wyndham El San Juan to see if they offer a daily usage fee.
