Dunns River from MoBay

We are on NCL Sky Jan26th. This is the only time that NCL is going to be in MoBay this year all other weeks are at Ocho. As a result there is not a ship's excursion to the falls, I assume because of distance. I have been quoted $60pp for a private excursion which includes entrance, but not a guide at the falls. I am trying to get a feeling if this is too steep and I should wait till I get to the pier and just hire a car and driver for the day.
Any suggestions????

Aaron, personally I would opt for the river rafting or something in and around MoBay instead of the Falls, The Falls are very nice but from MoBay it is a VERY long drive and will take up all of your time with very little time to actually climb the falls. I honestly would not risk it due to the distance.

I stayed at Montego Bay Resort last year and the cost was $50 per person including the VERY LONG Juta taxi ride to Ocho Rios. I'd say you were better off waiting until you got to the pier.
