Default St. Helena

One of our port calls on an upcoming South Atlantic cruise is to this isolated island. About all I've been able to learn is that it was the site of Napoleon's last exile. Has anyone been there who can give some details. From photos it looks like everything is inaccessible except for the port city itself. TIA

I received a shore excursion book from Orient in which they list no fewer than four tour options. The cheapest is an historical Jamestown walk - town square, St. James Church, Castle and Gardens and Wellington House Hotel - all for $15! Then there's an island highlights half-day tour for $38, full day naturalist tour for $45 and a full-day island panorama tour, including Napoleon's house for $75. At least I know there will be plenty to see and do.
