Vancouver & Anchorage
Does anyone have any suggestions for the approx. 2-1/2 hours we have in Anchorage between the time the train gets in from Seward and the time we need to get to the airport? We are doing the helicopter glacer landing out of Juneau, so we want something different than that.

Also, any ideas for Vancouver? We are arrriving the afternoon before the cruise starts but after about 13 hours travel, (I think that's right with time zone changes factored in) and jet lag, we want something easy and fairly short. I'm planning to be in bed early that night! I'm too old to keep going like the Everready bunny! We'll be staying at the Pan Pacific.

We like pretty scenery and wildlife.

Thanks in advance! You are always so helpful!

Hi Linda,
For the few hours you have in Vancouver, think about taking a walk around town, its quite enjoyable, close to the pier. Be sure to look for the clock that runs on steam, although its small, so may-be ask where exactly it is, we almost missed it :-)
