Default Resort Day Stays - in St. Thomas

We are going on the Mariner of the seas over Thanksgiving this year and one of our
stops is in St. Thomas. I would be curious to know if anyone as had any experience
going to one of the resorts for the day. Interested in going to the beach at the
Renissance Grande Hotel and having the use of the hotel for the day.
Anyone ever done this before?

Thanks,
Leslie

We spend a day at the Ritz once. Best excursion we ever did. We were actually taking a cab to megans bay when the other people got out there. So we followed. Much nicer way to go!

Did the Ritz charge you to use their facilities? What was available to you, beach chairs, etc?

We did not pay a fee (this was a year ago and I cannot vouch for it being the same now). We just walked out as if we belonged. They set us up with a couple of beach chairs. There is a nice pool and a bar/restaurant. They have a catamaran and some windsurfers out there but we did not try to use them. Really nice spot!
