Default Malfini Beach, Labadee, Hiati

Is the Malfini Beach excursion worth the $50 on Royal Caribbean's beach at Labadee? What's different about it ?

Hi Martine,
Not sure what this is, I thought the regular BBQ buffet was just fine, not sure if its worth paying another $50 for this?? May-be someone has done this and can elaborate what its about....

In the shore excursions, there is a tour to Malfini Beach for $50. I was wondering if it was worth it.

I am going on it. I can let you know in January!
I heard it is very beautiful, secluded. We shall see.

Back to the first post please. Was talking to my neighbor last night and she seemed to think it wasn't necessary to pay $50 for the beach - that there is a free beach when you get off the tendor. Help please!

Hi Deb,
There will be a regular "free" BBQ lunch on the beach, there is no need to pay the extra for this. I thought the lunch was just fine and there were like 3 different areas where you could go to eat. The area there is very large, just roam around for awhile, find a nice spot. The beach off to the left is the most crowded, but there are many other nice areas too.

Thanks Donna. Is this where the parasailing is? What is a banana boat?

Hi Deb,
Yes, you can sign up for both, either once you get onboard on you TV or go down to the shore excursion desk. Although if you really want to do these at certain times, go ahead and pre-book on like at the Royal Caribbean site. They have the banana boats running all day, looked like fun.

Labadee is BEAUTIFUL. We were there several years ago and would love to go back. It is like Gilligan's Island. Very beautiful and laid back. I would definately go there.
