Default Calling for your advice

In order we'll be stopping at Labadee, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. What to see? What to miss? Book with the line or on our our own? Your recomendations for everything while we're there, please. Any and all tips you can give would be appreciated.

Thanks so much!!!!

Oh, and we are a group of four families. All adults are in good condition. Kids' ages are as follows:

1 - 6yr.
1 - 7 yr.
1 - 11 yr.
2 - 12 yr.
1 - 13yr.
2 - 14 yr.
1 - 15 yr.
1 - 16 yr.
1 - 17 yr.

I'm leaving someone out, but you get the idea.

Thanks again!

Labadee--- rent wave runners... maybe banana boat rides for the kids.

Ocho Rios-- Dunn's River Falls. Everyone should have a great time, climbing them together. Easy to book privately to save a few $, but if not book the ship's tour.

GC- Sting Ray City--- in my opinion the best excursion in the Western Caribb.

Cozumel--- rent jeeps. Easy island to get around, and you can stop at different beaches during the day. If you were to drive non stop around the island, it would only take 1 hr, so lots of stops still wont eat up your day.

If you have time later, into town of San Miguel for a visit to Carlos & Charlies or Senior Frogs.

My sister in law went with a group of about 30 last fall~families with children. They bought snorkeling gear at Walmart at home and chartered a boat to swim with the stingrays in Grand Cayman. They had the same tour as the cruise line tours and it cost about half as much. This is assuming that everyone can swim, since they take you out to a sand bar in the ocean and feed the stingrays and sharks to attract them.

I disagree with the Carlos & Charlies. This is a daytime partying bar with free flowing drinks and they probably wouldn't let the children in anyway.

They will let the children in but there are better things to do than Carlos and Charlies. It's ok just to say you were there but walk around San Miguel and see some architecture esp when you go a little off the beaten path. We like to shop the small shops and interact with the locals. There are usually sitting areas with statues and it's just nice to see something different. As for Kuki's other suggestions that is exactly what I would do.
