Default book through travel agent

If I want to make sure I get on a particular tour, instead of waiting until I get onboard, should I book it through a travel agent. A friend did that she told the agent what she wanted to do and the agent took care of it all for her. Do you think that is best

If stopping off in Belize by cruise ship you can book the most exciting shore excursions like cave tubing, mayan temple tours, snorkeling at Shark/ray alley and many other activities. Visit www.royalmayanadventures.bz for details on these tours mentioned and many others.
