Default Montego Bay

Hello all!

Going to sail on the Star Princess next November (yay!) and one of our stops is Montego Bay? Has anyone been to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville there in Montego Bay? Also, any short shore excursions that are recommened that would leave us enough time to go to Margaritaville? Thanks!!!!

Hi My wife and I (and her parents) went to Ocho Rios on the Coral Princess in Jan. We did the White River tubing safari. It was the best excursion I've been on!! you float down a cool river on inner tubes that have metal and plywood bottoms so your butt doesnt stick out the bottom, and have a little oar to kinda push yourself along. We floated for about 2-3 hours, then had drinks and a sample of jerk chicken that you could buy more of. the river was pretty gentle with a few narrow areas of fast water and two or three little rapid sections that the guides help you through. It was probably 4 ft deep + or - through out. We had a blast as well as everyone else that went. we'd meet others later on on the cruise and still be talking about the trip down the river! I was told by someone that it beat the heck out of the Dunns river falls trip! Both my inlaws had a great time as well even though my father in law is alittle afraid of water.

Hello! I was in MoBay last September and I had an awesome time! I was on the Conquest. After doing a little shopping, we (my mom, grandma, and I) ended up at Margarittaville. We didn't really do anything besides sit and have some drinks and some hot wings (both were excellent)! Our waiter was excellent--he gave up his other tables and talked to us for the entire time we were there, and we still email each other about once or twice a month. And he got us the recipe for the hot wing sauce from the chef *s* If you haven't visited the website yet (http://margaritavillecaribbean.com/), I would go there. Any questions, send me an email!
