Mountain Biking

Hi im going on a east and west carribean cruise on the triumph and i was wondering what the average price is to go mountain biking, and also what are the different difficulties like. Also which is the best place to go mountain biking preferably with not too many people.
Thanks : - )

Caymen and Cozumel are fairly flat islands.
Jamaica is a gorgeous place to mountain bike
St. John Island /St. Thomas has some good biking also.
I don't have any details, i suggest you do a search on each island and put in biking as your subject line.

Re: Mountain Biking

I did a pretty extensive search for Belize, Cozumel, Progreso and Costa Maya (we are cruising Western next weekend) and didn't come up with much.

I found several mountain bike tours, but the more serious ones (my dh is an avid biker and racer) were 2 or 3 day tours. Carnival offered "Biking in Belize" as a shore excursion, but I'm afraid my dh would go CRAZY riding at the tourist pace.

Let me know if you come up with something - I'd be curious.

We're planning on doing the Water Island biking tour on St. John during our St. Thomas stop during our 10/2 Century cruise; my sister and her husband did that tour a couple of years ago and really liked it. We've also done mountain biking in Curacao, which was great.
