Default Seatrek Helmet Diving Chankanaab Park

Has anyone been on this before and is it worth the money? My wife and I thought it might be fun. Is it best to purchase this from the ship or is it cheaper at the park? We thought we would go on this and stay at the park for the day and return by cab. Would this work? Glory 4/22/05

We did it last year. We booked through the ship and had a great time. Having said that, due the expense, I wouldn't do it again. If you can book it cheaper off the ship I would. We were the first ones in the water and the entire excursion only took about 40-45 min. You're only underwater for about 20-30 min.. Hope this helps.

It's much cheaper at the park. You can catch a taxi right at the pier and go from there. The park itself is incredible, but snorkeling allows you the same sights that the helmet trek will. It's fabulous!!! We are going back in June.

My husband paid at the park ($50 in 2002) He loved it, they video tape you, another $50 NO idea why, but I panicked (I love the water) but the store refunded my $50
