Default water skis and wave runners

Does anyone know what beaches in St. Maarten rent water skis or wave runners? Also what is the age for someone to ride one alone?
Thanks

psu,
Patience is a virtue! Give people a little more time to answer. Have a great cruise!

Most beaches in the Carribean have wave runner rentals right off the shore. Everywhere we've been you have to be 16 to drive one. Be careful though as some people who are renting them aren't licensed to do it. That happened to us in the Bahamas. My daughter was out on one and the people we were renting from weren't licensed. The police boat came out and took her off the jetski and confiscated it. The people that were renting them jumped on the ones they had and took off.

I didn't notice water skis, but they did rent wave runners and had parasailing at Orient Beach in St. Maarten. Lots of lounge chairs and place to eat as well.
