Anyone stayed on the Grand Princess on the Plaza level? We are in the very front (208 and 210). We are concerned about being under the theater and access to upper decks. Also, where do you collect excursion tickets in the morning? Will we have to go to top floor and then come back down to the Plaza level to disembark? How is the comfort of the ride?
Hilary, We were on the Golden Princess Emerald Deck, so I can't answer your question. I do know we never heard anything from any of our neighbors, but we would hear the door slam across from us which was the employees access to the hallways. Other than the door slamming more so the last night, I was amazed how quiet the ship was. The excursion tickets will be left in your stateroom on the desk when you arrive the day you embark - providing you ordered ahead of time. If you order them once your on the ship I assume you will receive them at that time. We disembarked on level 4 when leaving the ship at ports. Gave fun.
you will have walk a bit down the long corridors to get to the main stairs or elevators to get to the other decks but that's about it. Look at the deck plan and you will see the main bank of elevators and stairs on each passenger deck.
As for the noise issue, really can't help you there as we stayed on the Dolphin Deck.
