Default Atlantis excursion

Is there a way to get access to the pools and slides when you do the beach/aquarium excursion at Atlantis?

Hi Wally,
The only way to be able to access the pools and slides is to be a guest there. There is also another hotel where you can be a guest and have use of the Atlantis facilities as well, but its pricey.

Wally,

Unless they have put fences up, you don't need to be a guest there. I stayed across the street at another hotel & you just walk right in. Beaches / pools are all open. Nice lazy river ride also. But this is going back about a month before the Atlantis was open.

no you cannot just walk in and use the pools and waterslides at Atlantis anymore, you must be a registered guest at Atlantis or at the Comfort Suites hotel to use the facilities.

We were there a couple of years ago and they have people at the entrances checking for armbands. You can't get in without one.

Would it be possible to get a room at the comfort suites - even though we will not be staying there over night - to get the armbands for the pools and watersides? This may be cheaper than paying for an excursion for 6 people (4 adults, 2 children)? Is it easy to get cab to Atlantis and back? Cabe fare $?

Hi Wally,
Yes, you can certainly do that, but I believe the limit per room is 4, so figure that into the cost as well. Its very easy to get a cab there or even cheaper to take the water taxi over.
