Default Half Moon beach in Montego Bay?

Hi everyone. We are cruising the Conquest Dec. 4th and are thinking of going to a beach near Montego Bay. I was wondering if anyone knows if we can get a day pass to Half Moon resort. Has anyone been there or another private beach they would recommend?

Thanks!

Angela

Sunset Beach offers a day pass that includes food and drink. Used to be $20 per person, but they've recently upped it to $40 or $45 after the addition of a small water park. It gets good reviews, but I'm not sure if it's worth the new price. (try a google search to find their website; I don't think they list day use fees for cruise ship passengers, but if you e-mail them, they'll get back to you with information).
