Default Grand Cayman Island 7-Mile Beach

Please give us some input on the 7-Mile Beach. Which would be better
to purchase a shoretour or have a taxi take us from the pier to the
beach? Is this beach one long beach or several beaches all together?
Are there areas along the beach where you can rent chairs/get a drink
etc?? Please tell us what you know!!
Thanks

If you just want to hit the beach then taxi is the way to go. 7 mile beach is a short ride from the pier.
It a long stretch of beach (7 miles- hench the name), it is dotted with hotes, condos, but there is a public beach also.

I would like the same advice, actually. I went there a couple years ago and took a cab to the public (7 mile) beach. There was a bar, but that was about it. There were no lounge chairs, showers, restaurants, etc...

I would pay extra for these things, but I don't know where to go. ?? I'm on Norwegian in a few weeks and I know they offer a 7 mile beach excursion, but I don't know what amenities they offer.

shellster - you can go to any of the hotels along the beach and for a fee you can use the hotel's beach with amenities.

You ca also get to the beach via public transportation via bus. Very inexpensive. Just ask to be dropped off at the public beach.

This little bus ride is good for people who just want to get off the ship and do something but not take any of the ship tours. Very cheap, give it a try.
