Hi - we went on the martha brae a few years ago. I took my dad who was 70 at the time and he did ok getting on and off the raft. It is kinda tricky, but they help you. If the water is high it is better (high is still high enough to stand up), but when we went, some parts were low (or my a__ was to heavy...lol) and we hit bottom every now and then but no biggy. It was a nice leasurely ride and very pretty. I don't think I would do it again, but I"m glad that I did. The guide that does the steering at the front of the raft will try to sell you a carved coconut that they make. Of course you end up buying one. You will not fall off, so don't worry. I think you will enjoy it.
