[quote="brad813"]Wouldn't be the Captain Morgan factory would it? I quote]
Nope! I was thinking about it and I think it's called Don Q. It's a brand not commonly available in the US. I liked it, though!

My very favorite excursions have all been in Alaska. Whale watching - every time I go, it's a beautiful, spiritual experience. I'm glad that I've taken the smaller "speed" type boats during these excursions because we get from location to location quickly as the captain stays in contact via radio with (I'm assuming) spotters. NEVER been disappointed and would go back in a heartbeat!
Also in Juneau, the Taku Lodge floatplane trip is well worth the money. A beautiful flight up over the mountains & glaciers. Each passenger has their own window, headset for narrative. The views are indescribable! Lunch at the lodge was wonderful and the surroundings were amazing. I had a horrid fear of flying up until the year I took this excursion & it cured me! A man in our group was allowed to sit in the co-pilot seat on the flight out, so I asked the pilot if I could sit in the co-pilot seat on the flight back and he let me!! My husband could NOT believe I was actually doing this but I was determined to conquer my fear. Now, I LOVE to fly.
I also love the White Pass Railway trip out of Skagway. I'm a train nut so this is a "must-do" for me when I'm in AK.

We just got back from or 4day NCL and did Capt Tony's Catamaran Sanddollar cruise at Freeport. $45/PP (doesn't include transportation)
OMG it was great! It was just 4 of us on Capt Tony's boat. He met us at the Cruise port and he found transportation for us! Once we got to his catamaran, he told us to make ourself at home. He had a large container of bahama mamas that was very tastey.
The boat was neat. It had a kitchen, dinning area, 2 bathrooms and bedrooms inside. We put our stuff inside and went out on deck and cruised to our snorkeling spot. His helper guided us around the reef. My and brother have never snorkeled and they took time with them and made them at ease. They did great. We saw many fish, starfish, a prickly starfish which the guide brought up and let us touch it. He put it on our arm and it wiggled up our arm. so cool. He also found Three large conch that he gave us and let us keep the shells (they kept the conch). After a couple hours snorkeling there we went to the sand dollar location where we got to snorkel for sand dollars. They were everywhere! I got like 20...my sister and brother got way more. They also got some neat looking shells, some sea biscuits, and the shell of a sea earchant.
My husband and I usually book through the cruiselines. But going out on a limb here I have learned, it pays to research and take advise from other cruisers. What an awesome time! If I'm ever back in Freeport, I would definetly book this again!!

We did a 'spa day' at a resort in St. Lucia - booked through Serenitytrvl.com. Met us at the ship - took us to a beautiful dive boat - road along the coast - met at the dock by the Resort Host who took us to the "scenic" lounge - 1.5 hr. pedicure/couples massage overlooking the ocean - cooked to order lunch - time on the beach with snorkel gear & kayaks.... completely & totally relaxing!
I would have to say my favorite excursion would be on Princess cruise to Kauai (Nawiliiwili)Hawaii, Tubing The Hanamaulu Ditch. The water is a little brisk (they like you not to use the C*** word). It was very relaxing and enjoyable.

In Panama we did the canopy tour which was great and in Costa Rica we did the bus tour to San Jose which we enjoyed greatly.

My favourite excursion was in St. Kitts. A group of us did Sea Trek and loved it. We saw lots of marine life and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it if St. Kitts is one of your ports of call.
- Dolphin Encounter with my hubby and our 4-year-old in Cozumel this past April. DD is STILL talking about it 6 months later. !
- ATV tour (also in Cozumel) with hubby in 2004. LOADS of fun!
- Shopping in St. Martin with my mom last year. St. Martin is now her favorite port.
