Default Dolphin Swim Vision Question glasses/contacts

I wear glasses and also contacts, how does that work the dolphins? You cant wear jewelry, so that would mean glasses are out. But I am concerned to wear contacts in salt water..... anyone with previous experience!
Thank you

I did the Dolphin Swim in Nassau and glasses were NOT allowed. I had to remove mine but luckily my vision is such that I was able to see well enough without them. Your head will be above water most of the time but you may go below water if the encounter includes having the dolphin do a push or if you have the dolphin pull you. You do not have to do this.

Take care,

I just kept my contacts in, you really don't have to swim underwater and open your eyes, I was fine, didn't loose either.

I did it with my contact in and didn't have any trouble at all. Just keep your eyes closed if you go underwater at all (also, always travel with a back-up pair or two).

What about wearing contacts when snorkeling? I would really like to be able to see what I'm looking at.

i wear glasses/contacts and am fine in the water wearing contacts. i've even gone scuba diving with contacts (even though its recommended you don't do that) and been fine. i just make sure to have some drops handy since my eyes tend to get a bit dry and it helps to rinse off any residue.

Thanks for the info. I'm still investigating. My soft contacts have expired in 2000. lol Shows how much I wear them.
A dive shop recommended taking the glasses earpieces off & taping the front part into a mask.
