Default Ocho Rios Port

Has anyone gone to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville at the port of Ocho
Rios? In the pictures, I noticed a pool, bar, and eating area. Is there
access to the beach for swimming?
Thanks for the info.
Happy Sailing.........

Margaritaville in Ocho Rios is lots of fun. You're right, it has a large pool with a water slide, swim up bar, great wings and Red Stripe!! When you enter the restaurant, ask the person who escorts you to your table for wrist bands (this was how it worked when we went there). The wrist bands allow you to exit and access the beach area and re-enter the restaurant whenever you want. When I went with my family, we always had one or two family members stay at the table in the restaurant while the others swam in the water. As long as you're ordering food and drinks, they leave you alone and we stayed there for about 4 hours and had a great time.

Hi Cruisingbears,

Go here http://www.margaritavillecaribbean.com/index.php and find Jimmy's "lost" shaker of salt for a coupon for a free margarita!

It's a fun place! There will be a lot of young people doing "shots" and some games you can join in if you want. My advice: Hold onto your drink while the games are going on! It's pretty wild!

We didn't join in, but enjoyed watching !
